How it Works and Important Dates

How it Works

• Register online or at any Denver Public Library location anytime from May 29 to July 31.

• Reading Road Trip is for readers going into grades 6-12. Book a Trip! is for children from birth to those starting 5th grade in the Fall.

• Read one entire book OR read for 4 hours to earn each prize (your choice).

• Write down what you read on the prize card.
  

• Bring the card to any DPL location during the dates listed.

• Library staff will stamp the card and give you your prize!
  
  
• Last day to pick up prizes is August 16. Prizes available while supplies last, so don’t procrastinate!

Prizes

• Prize 1: Available June 14
  Colorado Rockies cinch sack

• Prize 2: Available June 21
  One admission to the Butterfly Pavilion
  and
  One round of mini-golf at Aqua Golf. Aqua Golf is a brand new, state-of-the-art miniature golf course owned and operated by the City of Denver. Be one of the first to try it out! Aqua Golf is expected to open in July and is located at 501 West Florida in Denver.

  Ticket to Museum of Nature and Science

• Prize 5: Available July 12
  Choice of paperback book or journal

  Write a review from July 1 to August 16 for a chance to win a Target gift card!
  
  Participate in the DPL Kitty Scavenger Hunt for a chance to win another prize!
  
  Complete the 2008 Summer of Reading program in order to register to win
