This is an interesting book. This book explains how Puffins are able to fly and how their body structure helps them do this and swim. The Puffin has spines on it's tongue that helps hold the fish it's catches in it's mouth. Their appearance changes in the winter and back to being colorful in summer. The biggest threat to Puffins are humans!

The pictures in this book are really cool, with alot to see on every page. It is fun to read again and again. Miss Smith and her class go to the spooky library for a fieldtrip. The librarian reads scary stories in the incredible storybook, and monsters come out. The kids are scared but then everybody has a big party and the scary guys are nice. When they have to finish the stories for the characters to go back into the book, they forget the Jaberwocky!

I enjoyed the way the author thought up all of Squirrel's homes and the life she had. She grew up having a hard life, and because of that, it was hard trusting people and other dogs. A Dog's Life is about a dog named Squirrel who lives in a wheelbarrow with her brother, Bone, and her Mother. Then one day, her life goes crooked. She and Bone go on many adventures trying to find food. They become strays, and Squirrel gets left all alone with no Bone. However, one day, she finds a partner on her hunt for food. That is, until they get separated...

I liked all the facts about animal and plant life in a rain forest. The rain forest is filled with many types of plant life and animals. One of them is called a Capybara it's like a large guinea pig with web feet! There is a picture of a giant Queen Victoria water lily it's pretty amazing to see.

I like the color pictures of the tropical rain forest animals and the facts about them. The rain forest is made up of layers. You'll find tall trees some over 20 feet tall and other types of plant life. There are many animals too Lemurs, Boa constrictors and Jaguars. Much of the rain forest has yet to be discovered.

This is a good book to learn about Jackals. Each species of Jackal live in a different habitat they usually live alone or with a mate. They are scavebgers and hunt for their food also. Some Jackal predators include Leopards and Hyenas. People taking over the land where they live is also a threat to them.

I liked this book. Jackals don't live in big packs like wolves they live alone or with a mate. They share a territory and live in a den. Baby pups drink milk after two weeks they can try solid food and at tweleve weeks they can go out hunting with their parents.

This is a good book to learn about the Earth. The Earth looks like a big blue marble from space. The Earth has been viewed from the moon by twelve astronauts we see pictures of it taken by satellite pictures. Weather is checked by looking at the clouds and ocean temperatures. Satellites help us to learn about the Earth and space.
