The pictures in this book are really cool, with alot to see on every page. It is fun to read again and again. Miss Smith and her class go to the spooky library for a fieldtrip. The librarian reads scary stories in the incredible storybook, and monsters come out. The kids are scared but then everybody has a big party and the scary guys are nice. When they have to finish the stories for the characters to go back into the book, they forget the Jaberwocky!

She and Bone go on many adventures trying to find food. They become strays, and Squirrel gets left all alone with no Bone. However, one day, she finds a partner on her hunt for food. I liked all the facts about animal and plant life in a rain forest. The rain forest is filled with many types of plant life and animals. One of them is called a Capybara it's like a large guinea pig with web feet! There is a picture of a giant Queen Victoria water lily it's pretty amazing to see.

They endure a perilous quest to Mr. Curtian's cave, almost get killed, get kidnapped, and get betrayed to find Mr. Benedict. They found out where Constance is and about her past.
